The Arc Award recognizes outstanding achievement in scripted storytelling, honoring work that demonstrates excellence in narrative structure, dialogue, character development, and originality. All winners automatically qualify for consideration for this special award.

The Magic Eye Award for Best Camera honors outstanding achievement in cinematography for visual media. It recognizes exceptional skill in visual storytelling through framing, composition, lighting, and camera movement - crafting imagery that captivates audiences and strengthens the narrative impact. All winners automatically qualify for consideration for this special award.
Best Original Music
The Magic Wave Award for Best Original Music celebrates exceptional musical artistry crafted for the screen. It recognizes original compositions that deepen narrative impact, heighten emotion, and transform visual storytelling into a powerful and memorable experience. All winners with original music automatically qualify for consideration.
Best Impact
This Award honors work that creates awareness around a specific topic and/or delivers meaningful impact on an individual, a community, or society at large. It recognizes initiatives by organizations, institutions, or individuals that inform, engage, and contribute to positive change through their subject matter, intent, or outcomes. All entries that embody the essence of this special award are eligible for consideration.
Best Storytelling
Presented in memory of the festival’s founder, Cora Chinbuah, the Corazón Award honors an entry that embodies emotional truth and human connection. It celebrates storytelling that evokes powerful emotional responses - ranging from joy to sorrow - and reflects sincerity, empathy, and heart, in the spirit of Cora’s legacy. All winning entries whose themes and tone embody the essence of this special award are eligible for consideration.

This award celebrates the work that resonates most with audiences, giving the present participants a voice in selecting their favorite entry during live voting on Awards Day in Berlin, Germany. Shortlisted attendees can apply for a slot to present their winning entry to the audience.
