The WorldMediaFestivals honour excellence in media communication across television, corporate, digital, print and audio.
Founded in 2000 and now led in its second generation, the festivals build on the heritage of intermedia — a media-focused organisation established in 1965 and now in its third generation.

For many years, the festival was hosted in Hamburg.
Since 2025, the WorldMediaFestivals have taken place in Berlin, continuing their tradition of bringing together creative and communication professionals from around the world in a city known for its cultural energy and international outlook.

The festival reflects a broad spectrum of media, welcoming submissions from production companies, broadcasters, agencies, corporate communicators and independent creators.
Entries are evaluated by an independent, international jury using a fair and carefully considered process.

Beyond the awards themselves, the festival day offers opportunities for insight, exchange and celebration including The Story House and the evening Awards Gala, where connections are made, achievements are recognised and new ideas take shape.

For more than two decades, the WorldMediaFestivals have stood for recognition, inspiration and meaningful connection within the global media community.
