Registration gives you access to the my.worldmediafestival platform – your personal space to manage every aspect of your participation.

Through the platform, you can:

  • Create and update your profile

  • Upload and submit your entries

  • Manage invoices and payments

  • View your results and awards

  • Access your winner’s press kitdigital badges, and other promotional materials

  • Find detailed information and registration options for festival events

  • Visit the Awards Shop, and much more

Everything relating to your participation is conveniently organised in one place.

All communication from the festival is sent to the email address registered on the my.worldmediafestival platform.

If several people need access, please share the login details internally or set up an internal email forwarding rule to ensure that no notifications are missed – especially if you are away, on leave, or no longer with the company.

If separate invoices are required for different departments or cost centres, we recommend that each department creates its own account to manage its respective entries and invoicing independently.

Yes, you may enter the same work in multiple categories. Each category requires a separate entry form and fee.

Choose the category that best reflects the purpose or medium of your work. If you’re uncertain, our team is happy to help you find the right fit.

Once an entry has been submitted, it is considered final. Changes or replacements are not permitted thereafter.
Please ensure that all information provided is complete and correct before submitting your entry.
All company names, titles and credits will appear exactly as submitted on certificates and in official listings.
Corrections requested after submission are subject to a handling fee of €50 per change.

Fees & Deadlines

The regular entry fee is €435 per entry (excluding VAT).
Early entries receive a 10% discount (€391.50), and late submissions are subject to a 10% surcharge (€478.50).

All prices are exclusive of tax.
Entrants from EU member states must provide a valid VAT number to receive a tax-free invoice under the EU reverse charge system.

Payment is made online through your festival dashboard by credit card or online transfer.
If you wish to pay by bank transfer, please contact the festival office in advance.
Organisations that require a purchase order or internal reference for billing can include it when submitting their entry.
Full payment details are available in the Entry Kit.

Entry fees are non-refundable. However, you may withdraw your entry from the competition.

Judging & Awards

Our jury is made up of international industry professionals from the fields of television, corporate, digital and print communication.
Entries are assessed according to a defined set of criteria, including:

  • Creativity and originality

  • Quality of execution and production

  • Effectiveness in addressing the target audience – this category carries double weighting in the overall evaluation.

You will be notified once judging is complete, around the beginning of April, about a month before the Awards Gala in Berlin.
Your dashboard on the my.worldmediafestival platform will show which entries are marked as winning entries.
If an entry is marked as winning, it has achieved at least a Silver award.
The exact award level will be revealed at the Gala in Berlin.

The main distinctions are intermedia-globe Silver, intermedia-globe Gold in the sub-categories.  The intermedia-globe Grand Award for best in category and the intermedia-globe Grand Prix – best of Festival. Additional special Awards and Industrie Awards honours are presented. 

Yes. All winning entries are honoured with a WorldMediaFestival trophy and certificate, presented at the Awards Gala in Berlin.
If you are unable to attend, your trophy and certificate can be claimed after the event.
Please note that shipping costs depend on the delivery location.
Additional copies for clients or team members can be ordered after the event.

No. Attendance at the Awards Gala and day programme is not included in the entry fee.
The Gala is a separate, professionally organised event, and participation requires a paid ticket.
Travel and accommodation costs are not covered by the festival.

Attending the Gala offers a valuable opportunity to celebrate your successnetwork with peers, and be part of the international media community.

Attendance is optional but highly encouraged.
The day events and Gala are exclusive, limited-capacity occasionsdesigned to encourage meaningful exchange and professional networking within the international media community.

Awards for non-attending winners are shipped after the event. Shipping costs are depending on your location.

Yes, please do! This is your win — your success — and the Gala is the perfect occasion to celebrate it together.
It’s also a wonderful opportunity to bond with your team, exchange ideas, and learn from fellow professionals in a relaxed, exclusive setting.
Additional tickets are available, and early booking is recommended as seating is limited.

The daytime events follow a business casual dress code.

The Awards Gala in the evening is a festive, elegant occasion – black tie optional.
You’re welcome to wear a tuxedo or evening gown, but a well-tailored suit, cocktail dress, or other elegant outfit is equally appropriate.
The focus is on looking refined and celebratory, not casual.

As photography and filming take place throughout the Gala, we encourage guests to dress with intention – you’re part of the celebration as much as the award itself.
Most importantly, come ready to enjoy the evening and celebrate your success – the event is about you.

The Story House offers talks, presentations and project showcases from across the media spectrum.

At the heart of the day is the presentation of the winning entries.
Participants have the opportunity to introduce their work and share insights – whether it’s a print project, image film, or cross-media campaign.
These insights are broad and international, reflecting the diversity of the festival community.

At the end of the session, the audience votes for their favourite piece, and the Audience Choice Award is revealed at the evening Gala.

During the Awards Galaall winners are invited on stage to receive their award(s) and have the opportunity to say a few words.
This is also when the exact results are revealed – including which award level each entry has achieved and whether it has received a higher distinction, such as a Grand Award, Grand Prix, Special Award or Industry Award.

Photographs are taken throughout the ceremony to capture these special moments.
The evening also includes dinner, entertainment, and time to celebrate each other’s success – it’s a night to connect, enjoy and have fun together.

We join as peers, not as competitors.

Yes — a limited number of guest tickets may be available.
